Famous Singer Waqar Khan selected as Brand Ambassador of Pahadi Language at Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Rajouri

Hon’ble Vice Chancellor BGSBU Prof Akbar Masood presented Token of Love and Honour to young singer and Almunus of BGSBU Waqar Khan. Coordinator Research Centre Dr Rafique Anjum and Liaison Officer of the Research Centre Dr Zakir Malik Bhallesi were also present. A detailed interaction was held with delegation of Pahari youth of Kashmir Valley headed by Waqar Khan.

A youth delegation from Karnah under the supervision of Famous Singer Waqar Khan went to Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University to attend the meeting held by the University administration.

 The meating was headed by VC Professor Akbar Maqsood, Dr Zakir Malik, Coordinator of Pahadi and Gojri Department Dr Rafiq Anjum Awan were also present on the occasion.

 Meanwhile, Waqar Khan and the delegation team congrated the University administration for starting a new P.G course in pahari language.

Waqar Khan was selected as the brand ambassador of pahari language. Moreover, several issues regarding Pahadi culture and language were also bought to light.

The pahari community also congratulated Waqar Khan for being selected as the brand ambassador of pahari language.
