Dr. Alam’s academic and research career is marked by his unwavering dedication to pushing the boundaries of science. Currently serving in the Department of Physics at the College of Science, King Faisal University, Saudi Arabia, he began his journey as an Assistant Professor in 2015. His exceptional work and contributions to the scientific community led to his promotion to Associate Professor in October 2022.
Hailing from the small town of Dildar Karnah in Jammu and Kashmir, Dr. Alam’s journey from a remote village to becoming a globally recognized scientist is truly inspiring. He completed his early education in Karnah village before earning his B.Sc degree from Amar Singh College in Srinagar, Kashmir.
